1946 - 1948 – senior positions, MFA of the USSR;
1948 - 1949 – counsellor, Permanent Mission of the Soviet Union to the UN;
1949 - 1952 – senior counsellor, Permanent Mission of the Soviet Union to the UN;  
1952 - 1953 –  senior assistant of the Minister of foreign affairs of the Soviet Union;
1953 - 1954 – head of Department for UN MFA of the Soviet Union;
1954 - 1960 – head of Department  for American states MFA of the Soviet Union;
1960 - 1966 – Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland;
1966 - 1968 – Deputy to Minister of foreign affairs of the Soviet Union - head of Department, foreign policy events planning;
1968 - 1970 - Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Cuba;
1971 - 1974 – chancellor of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations,  Member of Collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Soviet Union);
1974 - 1986 - Ambassador of the USSR in Lebanon;
Since 1986 - retirement.
