About the extension of the ban on entry into the Russian Federation of foreign citizens.

In accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated April 29, 2020 No. 1170-P, the ban on entry into the Russian Federation of foreign citizens and stateless persons has been extended for an indefinite period.

Citizens of the Russian Federation who also have other citizenship, a residence permit or other valid document confirming the right to stay permanently in a foreign country are allowed a single exit from the Russian Federation to their place of permanent residence.

However, in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 25, 2020 No. 730-r, the ban on entry into the Russian Federation does not apply to persons who are family members (spouses, parents, children, adoptive parents, adopted children), guardians and trustees of Russian citizens, entering the Russian Federation, subject to the presentation of valid travel documents proving their identity and recognized by the Russian Federation in this capacity, a visa (or in a visa-free manner in cases provided for by international treaties of the Russian Federation), and a copy of the document confirming the degree of relationship.

In this regard, the Visa Application Center of Russia in London continues to accept documents for the private visas for joint travel. Please note that only ordinary private visas of an accompanying person can be issued. Taking into account the uncertainty regarding the restoration of normal air traffic between countries, we would recommend that you apply for double-entry private visas for a maximum period of 90 days.

Drivers and crew members can apply for visa as usual.
