Entry into the territory of the Russian Federation is allowed for foreign citizens who are highly qualified specialists in the field of physical education and sports

In accordance with the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of May 15, 2020 No. 1275-p, from May 15, 2020, entry into the territory of the Russian Federation is allowed for foreign citizens who are highly qualified specialists in the field of physical education and sports, provided that these persons present valid documents, identifying them and recognized by the Russian Federation in this capacity, and visas or in a visa-free manner in cases stipulated by international treaties of the Russian Federation, and on condition that a valid employment contract is presented with a sports organization or Russian sports federation.

This category of citizens can now be issued work visas at the Visa Application Center.
