On the Agreement between Russia and Andorra on visa-free travel

The Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Principality of Andorra on conditions of the waiver of visa requirements for mutual travelling of Russian and Andorran nationals, signed on 5 December 2019, will enter into force on 25 November 2020.

According to this Agreement, Russian nationals holding regular, diplomatic and service passports can enter, leave, transit and stay on the territory of Andorra without visas up to 90 calendar days during each period of 365 days, counting from the date of first entry. The period of stay in the Principality of Andorra is calculated with regard to the rules for the stay of Russian nationals in the Schengen zone.

The nationals of Andorra holding regular and diplomatic passports can enter, leave, transit and stay on the territory of the Russian Federation without visa up to 90 calendar days during each period of 365 days, counting from the date of first entry.

The Agreement also specifies that nationals of one state intending to stay or reside in the territory of another for more than 90 calendar days and carry out labor or commercial activities must obtain an appropriate visa in accordance with the legislation of the country of entry.
