CONSULAR SECTION INFORMS

15.04.2021

Confirmation of the settled, pre-settled status of EU citizens.

Despite the absence of flights between Great Britain and the Russian Federation, there are still certain categories of foreign citizens, who have the right to fly to Russia through third countries and cross the country's border. As previously reported, EU citizens residing in the UK, who currently do not need a residence permit, faced additional requirements when submitting documents for a Russian visa and travel to Russia. They have to present a printout from the Home Office website explaining their settled or pre-settled status. Also they must personally give the so-called "share code" to the consular officer to check and certify the respective information.

This printout can be certified by British notaries/solicitors or by the Consular Section. Currently, it is possible to certify it at the Consular Section from Monday till Friday between 9:00 and 11:30 or between 14:00 and 15:30 without appointment. We would like to remind that face mask and gloves are mandatory while visiting the Consulate.
