Russia-Mauritius Visa Waiver Agreement took effect on 10 April 2016

The Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Mauritius on Mutual Abolition of Visa Requirements, which was signed in Port Louis on 23 December 2015, entered into force on 10 April 2016.

Under the Agreement, citizens of Russia and the Republic of Mauritius holding a valid passport, including a diplomatic or service passport, and who have no intention to be employed, study or reside in the territory of the other state, are exempted from visa requirements and may enter into, stay in or transit through the territory of the other state without a visa for a period of up to 60 days.

04.08.2017 - E-visa will be available to visit Primorye territory of the Russian Federation

Starting from August 8, 2017, nationals of Algeria, Bahrain, Brunei, India, Iran, Qatar, PRC, DPRK, Kuwait, Morocco, Mexico, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tunisia, Turkey and Japan may be granted an electronic visa (e-visa) to enter the Russian Federation through the border crossing checkpoints, located on the territory of the Free Port of Vladivostok.

29.05.2017 - List of 18 countries whose citizens can benefit from simplified entry to Russia through checkpoints at the Free Port of Vladivostok

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved a list of eighteen countries whose citizens can now obtain a regular single-entry business, tourist or humanitarian visa in an electronic form to enter Russia through checkpoints at the Free Port of Vladivostok.
