2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2018 FIFA World Cup

From 17 June to 2 July 2017, the Russian cities of Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Sochi and Kazan will host matches of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup. From 14 June to 15 July 2018 Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saransk and Volgograd will host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Entry and exit from Russia for foreign nationals coming over to the sports events as spectators will require a personalized “Fan ID”, which will allow the guests to visit the 2017 Confederations Cup and the 2018 World Cup with their national passport without the need to obtain a Russian visa.

29.05.2017 - List of 18 countries whose citizens can benefit from simplified entry to Russia through checkpoints at the Free Port of Vladivostok

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved a list of eighteen countries whose citizens can now obtain a regular single-entry business, tourist or humanitarian visa in an electronic form to enter Russia through checkpoints at the Free Port of Vladivostok.

Russian citizen Mr Victor Ivanelo, student of the University of Surrey, has been reported missing in England. Investigation and search are being conducted by Surrey Police.
