Born 1737.

On diplomatic service since 1758. Since 1760 served in The Hague. In 1764 - 1800 (except 1770 - 1771, when he accompanied the Russian Navy in a campaign against Turkey) worked in London, first as interpreter, later as consellor.

Many times acted as charge d’affaires ad interim (1775 - 1777, 1778, 1785, 1800).

In 1800 Emperor Paul I broke diplomatic relations with the UK. In August Lizakevich was appointed as Minister to Denmark and left Britain under a different name. He remained in Copenhagen until his death in 1815.
