Deputy FM Vladimir Titov meets British Ambassador to Moscow Tim BarrowOn 15 June 2012 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Titov received the British Ambassador in Moscow Tim Barrow.
During the meeting the sides discussed specific issues of Russian-British relations, including the forthcoming political contacts and interaction between the Russian Foreign Ministry and the UK Foreign Office, as well as topical international issues, including the situation around Syria.

On 27 September 2012 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a meeting the UK Foreign Secretary William Hague on the sidelines of the 67-th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
They thoroughly discussed the status and prospects of development of bilateral relations and exchanged views on current international issues, with particular attention to the situation in Syria.
On 18 September 2012, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Titov met with UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Permanent Under-Secretary of State Simon Fraser.
The parties discussed the issues of Russian-British relations, including the prospects for a new foreign policy mechanism - a high-level Strategic Dialogue, and the progress of trade and economic cooperation in the context of the next session of the Russia-UK Intergovernmental Steering Committee on Trade and Investment planned at the end of October 2012. Current international issues were also discussed.
On 30 August 2012 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Alexander Grushko met British Ambassador to Russia Tim Barrow. Some aspects of bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting.
During his visit to the United Kingdom, Vladimir Putin held talks with Prime Minister David Cameron.
The Russian President and the British Prime Minister discussed the prospects of cooperation in trade, the economy and energy between the two countries, as well as international issues, including the situation in Syria.
President Putin will make a brief working visit to the United Kingdom on August 2, 2012.
While in London, the President will meet with British Prime Minister David Cameron. Mr Putin will also attend a number of Olympic events.
On 27 July 2012 the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev will arrive in the United Kingdom on a working visit, where he will lead the Russian delegation to the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. Dmitry Medvedev will participate in the Buckingham Palace reception hosted by HM the Queen Elizabeth II in honour of heads of State and Governments, during which he will have a working contact with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron. During the second day of his stay in London the Russian Prime Minister will meet the athletes of the Russian Olympic team and attend the volleyball game between women's teams of Russia and UK.
On 28 June 2012, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Moscow Tim Barrow to exchange views regarding the situation around the Iranian nuclear program in light of the recent round of multilateral talks in Moscow.
